PRACTICAL INFORMATION

At the school, thirty or so students elected to the student office (BDE) are responsible for organising extracurricular festive events each year.

Relaxation and sport in the Grenoble region

Both in summer and winter, lovers of open spaces can discover the magnificent landscapes of the Vercors, Chartreuse and Belledonne mountain ranges. They can take advantage of numerous activities linked to the mountains, rivers and lakes: skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, canyoning, canoeing, windsurfing, caving etc.

Those mad about skiing can satisfy their desires in the many resorts in the Alps, from the nearest, Chamrousselocated about thirty kilometres from the campus, to the most famous: les 2 Alpes, l’Alpe d’Huez, Les 7 Laux, Tignes, Val d’Isère,…

Athletes of all kinds can pursue their passion!

Near the places where you study, Crous Grenoble Alpes offers 48 university restaurants and cafeterias, throughout the education authority area

The school is located on two different sites: Minatec and Campus.

Phelma Minatec located at 3 Parvis Louis Néel, 38000 Grenoble. The management, administrative and technical departments, classrooms, rooms for practical work and workshops are located on this site. It is near the Europôle district and five minutes from the station.

Phelma Campus is located at 351 rue de la Chimie Domaine Universitaire, 38400 Saint Martin d’Hères. Classrooms and rooms for practical work, a self-service computer room and an administrative and technical office are located on this site

30 minutes by tram between the two sites.

The first year courses take place both on the Phelma Minatec site and on the Phelma Campus site.

There are very many means of transport in Grenoble: Tramway, bus, bike, scooter etc.

The range of cultural activities in Grenoble is rich and varied, so there is something for everyone: Films, plays, dancing, music, conferences, museums etc.

Students at Grenoble INP can apply for a higher education grant awarded at national level according to social and university criteria taking into account the resources and expenses of the student and their family, assessed using a national scale determined each year.
